Hi Paul,

That WAS a long comment. It was almost like reading one of Grizz's posts. :) I agree though, he is a rockstar. And without even trying. He just says he's going to do something, does it, and then shows everybody how. It's almost laughable how easy he makes it seem while others toil away doing things that don't work and don't get results. I wish I'd heard of him back when he was in the process of doing his experiments, though I'm sure there will be more.

That's awesome that you've managed to do so well making money online. It's a bit of inspiration for newbies like myself. I'm just starting out, and luckily Shoemoney is the only person who's gotten me to pay up for a program. Oh, besides that Problogger.com forum. That place was a joke though, and I promptly left that clown car. Not even worth $2/month. Ah crap, I lied again, I'm also trying out TheKeywordAcademy (by Court and Mark - friends of Griz) but that's cost a whole dollar and I've already learned a ton and have found several profitable niches.

Your daughter is lucky to have someone like yourself with experience to guide her through the process of making money online. Selling MP3 downloads to friends; very clever. Now my comment is getting a bit long. I just read your 1 month review of the Shoemoney System though, and it's spot on.

Griz is a star, his blog is also a doorway into the real guts of how to make money online (solid tested, working, SEO). I've been churning out (almost zero cost) $15K+ a month for a couple of years now because instead of doing what somebody told me was great (via an affiliate commission for them) I concentrated on what I found actually worked. I use certain tools but only where they don't promise the earth and I can see "how" they would be effective. There is a huge amount of bullshit out there, Griz tells it exactly how he sees it and has the rankings to back it up. Shoemoney got lucky in 1 niche and was clever in how he re-invested the money. It's not a repeatable plan for 99.999999% of people.

In saying that I've also signed up for the Shoemoney System. My reason was simple, I thought it would be a nice way of introducing my daughter to what her dad does for a living. She likes Shoe and Jamie but she's bored to tears with the content. Just to keep her interested I took her through promoting Amazon MP3 downloads to her friends to make some cash. Money is a great motivator :) Also if you think it's slow for you, you want to try it as an international marketer - there has been nothing of any use so far.

Anyway, this is possibly the longest comment ever so I'll stop now. Keep up the good work, it's great to see how somebody else is finding the system, in an honest non affiliate, full of shit way.

Hi d3so,

Have you gone into the member's area today? They released over 30 videos covering all the basic stuff, and they sent out an email saying that they did this in response to complaints that the system is too slow. They're no longer considering account set-ups and basic definition videos part of the core content.

I'm actually really interested in the latest developments in the Shoemoney System regarding ebay arbitrage. I've spent a bit of time this weekend looking around for the kind of opportunities Shoemoney talks about, and look forward to the videos that are coming out next week that show you exactly how to capitalize on these market imbalances.

I too am a member of the system. I love how he states that his name and brand are on the line. All the legit reviews I've read are seemingly negative. I hope that he releases more stuff that is actually worth while, otherwise I too will end up writing a negative review. Thanks for sharing this.
