C’mon, if you have been paying any attention at all, you knew the Shoemoney System Scam post was coming. The big thing in internet marketing is to write a “scam” post to get to the front pages of Google. Google, according to Grizz (and this seems to be true), will always post an opposing position to all of the positive affiliate review posts. Affiliates now use that information to title their posts with “scam” in it and then they just give a positive review full of affiliate links. They are as useless as the actual positive review posts, if not more so.
Now, do I think the Shoemoney System is a Scam? No, I do not. It is many things, both positive and negative, but I really think the word “scam” is thrown around a bit too lightly and frequently. A scam, in its worst form, attempts to deceive and defraud people. It is nothing short of stealing in most cases. The Shoemoney System certainly doesn’t do that. The actual purpose and content of the system may be a bit vague, and it certainly comes at a significant cost, but that’s all part of the marketing game, and perfectly legal and not a scam at all. You have 60 days to decide whether or not the system’s a scam, and you can go ahead and get your money back if you do.
The problem with releasing any product online is that people are always quick to label something like the Shoemoney System a scam when it doesn’t immediately live up to the hype and their own expectations. I actually have to give Shoemoney a lot of credit for taking the flak for the first month and actually doing something to correct it. As I’ve mentioned before, he’s completely restructured the program as a result of the feedback from his customers. The Shoemoney System is reopening, and if you want to check it out for yourself, click on this affiliate link here so I make a little money too. I’m a poor noob. I need your support.
Speaking of review posts, I actually wrote a Shoemoney System Review as a WordPress Page instead of an actual post. I did this because I wanted to play with the concept of a “landing page” and the flexibility that Thesis allows me in creating one, not to mention I didn’t want to screw up the sweet flow I have kickin on my blog here. Now I admit that page is a pretty lame excuse for a landing page, but you’ll notice there’s only two ways out of that page; my Shoemoney System affiliate link and my link back to my blog.
I wrote that Shoemoney System review about a week ago, only got a couple of backlinks for it, and it’s already ranking on page 2 of the SERPS. I’m hoping that some more internal linking and a couple more inbound links will boost it to page 1. I’m also already ranking for “Shoemoney System Scam” on page 4 simply because I mentioned it in a post or two. This post should boost that ranking a couple pages, and some backlinks will hopefully get me to page 1. I better get on that…
